Well, I’m sad today. Mike Rubendall’s last ever Tattoo Age episode is now online, but it means there’ll be no more from him! Boo! I’m actually really sad to see him go.
This last episode once again focuses on just how hard Mike works. I don’t think you could have anything like this without mentioning that, to be honest. It also shows him chilling out with his family, which is lovely.
There are other artists in this, like Chris O’Donnell (who seems to know bloody everyone, don’t you think? Haha), and Henning Jorgensen, talking about Mike himself. It was cool to see Henning Jorgensen on there too, the tattoo geek in me was more than pleased with it! Mike also shows off much of his personal art collection, which includes some unpublished Horiyoshi III works, which was a real treat to see!
This last episode of Mike’s can be seen below, and as always, I’ll add it to our YouTube playlist for the show. Thanks again to Juliette (whose email I will reply to when I can grab five minutes!) for the heads up!
