First Details: The London Tattoo Convention 2016

We’re at that time of year again when the press release details for the London Tattoo Convention are out, and this year’s looks fantastic! This year’s event has been confirmed for the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of September 2016, at Tobacco Dock.

This year’s show will feature over 400 tattooers, which is absolutely amazing considering this is an event that tattooers will only work at if they’re invited. This means that all 400 tattooers are some of the best in the world! I feel like I would be leaving out someone and offending them if I gave you any highlights, but you can click here to go to a full list of the confirmed tattooers there. You’ll have to act fast if you want to book in a spot with these tattooers though, as this convention is one of the most popular in the world!

This year will also have some amazing exhibitions from Chris Guest, Christopher Lovell, Haris Nukem, and Jim Philips, as well as the first ever 2000AD Art Exhibit. The 2000AD show features artwork from some of the UK’s oldest and most iconic artists, and there will be plenty of prints and books available to buy. Keep an eye out on the London Convention’s website for a list of confirmed artists, which will be up very soon!

There will be, of course, the usual entertainment too, such as the Fuel Girls, Pyrohex, and a great selection of food and drink to keep you going before the bands are on in the evening.

You can see more and buy tickets by clicking here. If you’re anywhere near London at the time, you’ll be missing out if you don’t make it!
